Play School – Fundamentals: Phil T, August 26th

IMPORTANT: Please note that all dog spots have been filled for this event. We still have auditor (general viewing) spots available.

Play has the ability to transform your relationship, creating meaningful interactions and an ability to create strong rewarding moments. The benefits include having a far more balanced/content dog, improving your bond and being able to speed up their rate of learning due to the power in your rewards. Play can unlock intense engagement, a willingness to work with you and increase trainability.

This workshop is part of Phil’s Play School series. This is the first of three workshops that we will be running in the next 12 months.

This play workshop has been developed to both get you started or to help improve your current play game. Learning to play with your dog is a significant task that is multi layered and requires a strong ability to read your dog. This is the missing component to so many dog/handler relationships. You will leave this workshop motivated and committed to a process of developing your dog’s play.

Phil is the President of Schutzhund Australia. He has competed and Highest National level, won State Championships and The Australian National IPO/IGP Championship. Phil successfully trained a handler and dog team to represent Australia at the WUSV World Championships in 2007. He has assisted and helped train many teams to successfully achieve many highly accredited dog sport titles from BH, IPO, IGP through to FH Tracking and Grand National IGP Champions. Phil driving motivation is to help people build productive relationships with their dogs so they can achieve their goals

Dog Spots:  We have a limit of 5 dog spots (by application only once you have purchased a non-refundable auditor spot). If you are interested in a dog spot please email through your dog’s behavioural history, their current training level and your behavioural goals relating to obedience in an email application to us after you have purchased your ticket.

It is important that we have a range of dogs at various levels for the workshop. The purpose of dog spots is to demonstrate Phil’s techniques and how they work across a range of varied dog types.

Our team will need to sight proof of a current C5 vaccination (or equivalent) prior to attending the seminar. Please also ensure your dogs are up to date with their worming/flea/tick treatments.

Parking: Dog Spot attendees will have priority parking out front.  If parking is full out front there is parking in the service lane that runs parallel to the Princess Hwy.

Catering: We will provide PIZZA for dinner, tea/coffee and light snacks. You will need to organise your own lunch.

Refund policy: Pro Dog will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Seller (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
