Dog to Dog: Dave Mckelson – Monday, January 17th
This workshop will look at key strategies to promote desirable social interactions between dogs. We will cover various aspects and scenarios relating to dog social behaviour including;
- Introducing a young pup to other dogs
- Park etiquette and management strategies
- Desirable dog daycare group interactions
- On-lead meet & greets
Learn key strategies to set your dog up for success. Minimise the anxiety or adrenalin responses that can come with meeting unknown dogs. Focus on safe interactions and creating the appropriate emotions relating to dog to dog interactions; without compromising our relationship with our dog.
David is the owner and operator one of Australia’s most successful dog daycare and training businesses. The incident rate in our daycare facility is extremely low, which is a result of our focus on promoting desirable social group interactions in a fun and safe environment for both high energy and the timid dogs that use our facilities.
